The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) has flagged circulating posts about a data leak in the eGovPH App as FAKE NEWS. Spokesperson Renato Paraiso clarified that there is no basis for these claims, calling them part of a misinformation campaign.
National Computer Emergency Response Team (NCERT) and the eGov Development Team confirmed that their investigation found no proof of data breaches, unusual activity, or suspicious network behavior.
The DICT urges the public to rely on official channels for accurate updates and to be cautious in sharing online content.
